New Zealand wedding tattoos?

question from My Baby Boy due 12th ~ May :? New Zealand wedding tattoos I heard instead of a New Zealand tradition where the bride and groom tattoo their spouses with their ring finger of an actual engagement ring. , but I've seen more and more people doing this lately. I think it is clean and if I'm not a mortal fear of needles I'd probably go for the normal instead of a wedding ring.
