Q & A: Is there room for negotiation on the price of an engagement ring?

question of John : Is there room for negotiation on the price of an engagement ring I am looking to buy an engagement ring soon, and I've heard different answers to the question of whether You are entitled to negotiate the price for an engagement ring, can someone please give me a clear answer? Any other tips for buying the ring may be helpful, thank you Best Answer: Wed reply basketcase88
As a businessman I can tell you it is always room for negotiation. However, I would suggest buying the ring of a privately owned jewelry store, rather than a chain. provide general, large retailers, not every point of sale discounts, but if you are the owner of the shop, and business is slow (and that's all these days!) Are most willing to accept a few dollars tap out, only to close the sale. Do not be greedy, do your homework in advance and find out you do best, what would you pay on the open market (and make sure you compare apples to apples). In addition, companies are more inclined to give someone a discount, pay cash instead of using it on a credit card - because you will pay (as seller) do not have the use of credit cards. I see it, what the worst they can say to you is? Good luck!
