Irritation to a 2-year-old tattoo?

question from Ian : irritation to a 2-year-old tattoo My wife has my name tattooed on her ring finger, now we are married she wears a wedding ring on his finger, which is but found that her tattoo is always irritated to the point where they can not wear her ring. The ring is white gold, initially we thought it was a nickel allergy, so we had the ring in rhodium-plated, but it is still an Irritation.Meine question, it could be wearing the ring are the tattoo, what the stimulus ?
