I looked at the jewelry and my friend next to me. I saw a ring that I loved and the first thing I blurted out was something along the lines of "Omg, that ring is soooo beautiful, I love it!". My bf insisted the price and buy. You see, it looks like the EXACT ring an old best friend from middle school / early high school was when she was engaged to a man. She got the ring when she was in high school and they still have 6 months of dedicated and finally broke. It is a small ring. A blue diamond center with two regular diamonds on the side. The jeweler said it was $ 500 - $ 750 Because I had said I bought my boyfriend loved it, although I told him he should not. It was only $ 200. My friend I had almost never told, she had made and it was talk like a $ 3k ring. I know, rings and it was wayyyy too small to be expensive. I have not seen my boyfriend in over a year, even though we live in the same city. If I use this ring as a "placeholder" What do I do if I come into contact with it? If she calls a day and would like something I should be there from? Should I say something like "I told my bf how much I appreciate the ring you know he end up buying me like they wanted." before they can even say something about it? I knew it was a good chance that their wedding was to be fixed before we paid for it and it was probably not the smartest move. Should I act like my bf surprised me with and forget the whole ordeal pawn shop? I love the ring, it's so cute. All I know is when I run into her at some point while wearing that ring, and she points out that it would be "her" ring, I feel extremely uncomfortable and I want to tell me what to say to prepare. I do not believe that it is used for someone elses ring let alone my old friend the ring. I do not think it means to be human beings in their responses.
