issue of La Dee Da : Does anyone have a tattoo around his finger like a ring Do not worry, I will not get into a "wedding band" or a boyfriend or husband name?. I want my sons name in Japanese characters around my right ring finger. I want it there so I can put a ring on it and cover it when I'm around family members who might find it offensive. I live in Japan so not have tattoos look up to the older generation. I have one I did was not blind to this. If you have one, how was the pain and how did it turn out? My husband and I always looked at wedding rings for our anniversary tattoo. We have a number of tattoo artists that it's not something they told recommend (some are not at all), because the skin there so constantly renewed. Of ink "bleeds" out of construction and before long, you have nothing but a blur to the fingers.
