Buying my own engagement ring?

question of aimeelopez : The purchase of my own engagement ring I came across very happy, 3 diamonds. Two of them are 1 carat each, and one is 2.25 carats. I want one of the smaller diamond set in a setting for my friend as a wedding ring, and the largest in a setting for my engagement ring. We will not marry until he comes home from school, and he still has a year and a half to go. It would be strange if I bought a set because he did not make a lot of money at the moment because of the school taking into account all of his time? marriage is a once and for life, which (mostly) ... and you always want to forget the magical moment ...
