question of annelidic : What to wear appropriate accessories as a guest at an Indian wedding I will be attending a traditional Indian wedding in Kerala soon. I borrowed some beautiful lehengas Indian from a friend who at the ceremony, but I'm not sure if I'm accessorizing them properly. Can someone tell me if the following is appropriate: 1.For one of lehengas, I bought a traditional gold necklace necklace (described as "Polki stone necklace") from an Indian fashion jewelry store online. It is a cheap gimmick, really, but it looks much nicer than it costs. It is a kind of dangling animals and very pretty, but much less ornate than the other things I saw on the page. Does this sound like an appropriate choice, or should I be Western-style jewelry stick? 2.Since my friend lehengas a bit too long for me, I wear high-heeled, a little imagination sandals. Is it likely that I have to take during the ceremony? (To see pretty balls) 3.Are gold bangles on each arm in order because the only hand / wrist accessories? 4.Do Indian women wear an evening bag or purse at the time formal occasions like weddings? If so, what should I search? 5.This is not an accessory question, but I read somewhere that the guests do not wear red because that is traditionally the color of the bride. Is that correct? One of my lehengas is a beautiful dark red, so I hope I can still wear them Best Answer. Wed reply aks_arcadia
