It is strange that I do not wear a wedding ring?

question of No_longer_a_corporate_mom : Is it weird that I do not wear a wedding ring When we got married we are not a whole lot of money, my husband got my rings of fine jewelry counter Walmart?. They were pretty, but about a year later came out of the diamond and I could not find it. Plus the ring is white gold, which I found out I broke violently from something. I would like to set a beautiful wedding, but we can not afford at the moment. My man wears his gold band, but I have no ring, and sometimes I feel bad about it, but I know we not have the money for a ring for me. A friend of mine says this is just so funny that I do not wear a ring that she would never marry and do not wear a ring. I do not want a cheapo ring again and would rather wait until we can afford what I want. So should I just try to wait and buy a cheap ring again risk losing the diamond again, right?
