What are some alternatives to wedding rings?

question of Fruit : What are some alternatives to wedding rings are my fiance and I are married, started in about 6 months. None of us want wedding rings, because we are out of date and think they have become a Christian concept (even if they were pagan .. but oh well) Anyway. We have discussed tattooing the wedding rings, bracelets of colors that symbolize what we want in life. Bangles, as in India with the elephants and many other things to tun.Was some that you all know? Any interesting ideas? Thank you! It's one of those things where you just know. :) Even if something happens ... I love him very much and that would be a reminder of the time we spent together. I would never tattoo a name or date ... that just stupid. Unless your child. @ Gary is aware that rings older than Christianity, but they have become something of a Christian thing. I personally like tattoos and when I am old and gray ... I do not think I would worry much about a small black design around my finger. That's great that you all have been married for so long. Many more years! I'm just looking for something special. I want to together a highlight of the ideas and something that meant the most to us. I do not want just a run of the mill American wedding. @ As I said soiche do not really want to "pass down a bit" I can not bin.Ich this kind of person no children and I could not accept one. of the bracelets I never had before, it's kind of kool one:) think non-necklace, the Tattoo idea is kool, but only if you know that your time with this person forever and do not divorce or anything.
