Wed response from Shannon There are so many different opinions on what makes a good engagement ring that I think you should instead of asking your girlfriend. If you can not flat-out they want to ask, "Hey, what kind of ring you like" They can in the mall one day under the pretext of buying clothes or going a bit and just casually stop in the mall jewelry stores ... Have a comment like "Wow, I did not know there were so many different types of rings!" and then maybe suggest a few you think look good and see what she says. This way, you reduce their likelihood of something they would not like to buy good luck!
